Profile Huruma is an empath with the uncanny ability to adapt and find a niche wherever she lands; her reputation and reach both loom large, and she is a familiar presence among veterans and ex-Ferry. Being called a hero still gives her pause. Currently, she is one part of Wolfhound command.

Appendices

Miscellaneous

  • Warrior: Huruma is trained as a creature of war; she worked as a mercenary for many years, and has picked up an array of skills picked up over a long career. She has training in firearms, mixed types of weaponry and melee combat. As a soldier familiar with guerrilla warfare, she uses those tactics in various settings both urban and rural. Huruma is a particularly able hunter and stalker, and utilizes this in deadlier ways— from knowing where to hit and how sharply, to being able to track down a target or being able to lure them in. Stealth honed over the years makes her quick-moving, light on her feet and acrobatic.
  • Survivalist: She has experience in survivalist training, bushcraft, tracking, ranging, hunting, and field first aid; Huruma knows how to survive in cities and in the wild, from her street smarts all the way to knowing how to weather the elements.
  • Crime: Breaking and entering, lockpicking, theft, covering her tracks— Huruma’s been on the wrong side of the law for a long time, and not only knows how to commit petty crimes, but also how to manipulate a complicated crime scene to her advantage.
  • Interrogation: Physically intimidating as well as having her ability gives her a natural hand in getting what she wants, and she has learned the ways of extracting information from people. This includes traditional methods, but also more subtle ones.
  • Vehicles: Huruma knows how to handle an array of vehicles, from motorbikes and quads, to cars and military hardware. She knows only basics of airborne vehicles; while not able to pilot solo, she makes a fair co-pilot. Maintenance of vehicles like motorbikes and cars is secondary knowledge, although she is no mechanic.
  • Polyglot: Other than English, Huruma knows several languages used in sub-Saharan Africa, including Swahili, Xhosa, Khoi-san, Zulu, and Malagasy. She has picked up others to less fluent degrees, including Yoruba, Arabic, Japanese, and Korean.
  • Well-Traveled: Due to having traveled all over the world, Huruma is familiar with many foreign customs and entities.
  • Knowledgeable: Huruma loves to learn and read, and is well-read on an array of topics when she can manage it.
  • Renaissance Woman: Huruma can play the piano, sing, and dance; it’s all somewhat at odds with the rest of her but she is more than happy to pull out her love of finer things and the arts when she can.
