During World War II he entered a deep cover assignment into Nazi Germany posing as a defector from the United States in order to get close to Project Icarus and disappeared without a trace sometime in the mid 1950s. The truth of the matter is far more damning, Raith went deeper into government work and founded the OSI (Office of Special Investigations) to further research his kind, right up until the Company wiped OSI off the map in the early 1970s. After that, his trail becomes harder to follow… until he re-emerged in the mid 2000's to form the nascent OEI. But Marcus Raith is much more than a government employee. And his true goals are as of yet still unknown.
