Profile

Praeger rose to political power as Secretary of the Department of Evolved Affairs, a seemingly benevolent but deeply corrupt organisation that, through its Humanis First! and Institute affiliations, orchestrated the kidnapping of his wife, Carol, to keep him under control. After the tumultuous events of 2011 and 2012, Raymond and Carol both defected and joined the rebellion as quiet political leaders.

On May 2014, he accepted governmental leadership upon overthrowing Mitchell's regime, and in 2016, was elected with a landslide victory as the 47th President of the United States of America.

Appendices

Raymond Praeger was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended University of Maryland, and graduated with honors in political science and sociology and enjoyed a prolonged academic career in the field of sociology and social stratification. He would go on to become a congressman in Maryland, and in 2007, he was sworn in as Acting Undersecretary of the Department of Evolved Affairs, a former component of the Department of Homeland Security.

Political Leaning

Raymond Praeger was a registered member of the Democratic party until the Second American Civil War. Following the war he considered himself an independent and following his term as interim-president in the years immediately following the war, Praeger ran as an independent in 2016. Praeger is a liberal centrist and much of his policies focus on the maintenance of the status-quo with a focus toward economic reconstruction, stability, and forward thinking with unconventional strategies to rebuild America, as evidenced by his deals with Yamagato Industries and Praxis Heavy Industries in the creation of the California, SEA-TAC, and New York Safe Zones.

Attitude Toward SLC-Expressives

As under-secretary of the Department of Evolved Affairs, Praeger saw first-hand how mismanagement and corruption with regards to Expressive laws and regulations can lead to catastrophe. Praeger is considered an ally by the SLC-E community and worked closely with Secretary of State Catherine Chesterfield to draft the Chesterfield Act and find a middle-ground between personal freedoms and public safety. Raymond's wife Carol was famously held captive by the Commonwealth Institute for several years and her imprisonment has and subsequent liberation has engendered Raymond to the hearts and sympathies of many voters.
