Background

Tanith was born in Excelsior Springs, MO; she moved to NYC when she was 5, and only returned to Missouri to visit family. She's been involved in the NYC crime scene for a good 20 years now, though anything more than middle management was never really her thing. She manifested when attempting to escape the aftermath of the bomb in 2006, her ability helping to free her from nearly being entombed. During the war, she fled back to her family's in Missouri — though the moment the war was officially over, she made a beeline back to NYC. After Keira's death, she took over leadership of the 41st Precinct gang.

Tanith has the ability to create concussive blasts — but they come from punches and kicks and various other melee moves, rather than acting as a ranged attack. She gathers kinetic energy into herself, and unleashes it via physical contact with her target. The energy manifests visually as a purple 'fire' of sorts, and her punches tend to look rather explosive.
