Founded in the seventies by a group of twelve individuals under the leadership of Adam Monroe, the Company was an organization devoted to acting as a champion for humanity. Today, it exists as an independent entity assisting the government in locating and tracking people with special abilities; as part of its agreement with Homeland Security, its personnel are exempt from the country's mandatory registration laws — though many agents and employees have voluntarily chosen to add their names to the growing list of Evolved individuals.

Abandoned Facility

Located on Staten Island, this Primatech Paper warehouse was abandoned after being gutted by fire some years ago.

Biomere

Biomere Research, Inc. is a front organization for the Company. Located in Morningside Heights, the company is a leader in drug development and biotech research, and frequently collaborates with staff and students at Columbia University.

Most of Biomere's employees are neither part of nor aware of the Company. Its administration and research directors, however, are, and steer projects in directions likely to benefit the Company.

Bronx Facility

The Primatech Research building, also known as the Bronx Facility, was the primary headquarters of the Company in New York City until a combination of events resulted in a move to decommission it. This process was interrupted by an attack on the part of a gang called 'The Locos', leading to the complete destruction of the entire building. Fortunately, nearly all personnel and infrastructure had been evacuated previously.

Fort Hero

Located at the decommissioned Montauk Air Force Station, Fort Hero was a key Cold War installation, a Company research center after that, and has since become the subject of numerous conspiracy theories. After the destruction of the Bronx Facility, it was restored to unofficial active status and made the headquarters of the Company's New York branch.
