Just wanted to let people know that most of my RP partners are out of town for this run, so I've got some free time to run some Nightmare scenes for anyone who's interested. I'd be happy to do any sort of Nightmare, and you get as much or as little of my own interpretation of what you're going for as you'd like.

The best way to get ahold of me is by paging my characters (Constantine, Elias and Raith) when I'm online; to be safe, page all of them at once. If I'm not online, send an @mail to Raith, since I'm most likely to see it there.

The only time I'm not available is on nights where I have a lot of homework or before an exam, but generally, I'm available Monday thru Wednesday from 6 PM to 11 PM PST, Thursday from 6 PM on, Friday all day (except 11:30 AM to 3 PM), Saturday all day, and Sunday all day until 11 PM.

So! In that vein, I am also able to GM/NPC scenes if people need it. I am flexible when it comes to genre of those too. And for my own, if you have an idea of what might be cool to try out on my end, lemme know. As I have very small lists, and I'd like to do something that would be fun to read as well as useful- and you guys are the ones reading, so let me know if you want to see or try something specific.

Huruma's dreams themselves are mostly based on her memories and figures in her life(gods included, which means things can get rather spiritual)- Delilah's dreams are probably like falling down the rabbit hole on acid, and are probably very emotive- and Bao's I suspect are very often metaphorical and symbolic. So if anyone likes to GM things like those, let me know(though Huruma will not be back until after the Twilight tp).

EDIT: When the nightmares begin to gobble together with several people, I would like to find someone to go into one with Bao-Wei; preferably someone that he could meet several times in the waking world and therefore have some manner of human interaction that is /not/ connected to drugs, gangs, or mad science.

I'm thinking of possibly a mixture of surreal (For Mister Jack), and something relatively normal (For Mortimer), but I'm pretty open-ended if someone has a good idea in mind. What I mainly want out of this is for them to get the ability to negotiate with eachother, mentally communicate, and learn to share the body instead of blacking out all the time.

GMing is something that has always been a bit of a hurdle for me, however in the spirit of cooperation, I'm willing to try my hand at it for someone. If it goes splendidly than like as not I'll be willing to contribute more, but for now it's going to be the old college try. If you feel you have the patience to let a novice attempt to run a nightmare for you, and are willing to discuss the meta of what you want to happen at least in generalities, please give me a whirl.

I'm located on the West coast and am usually online between 6 PM and 12 PM PST, but my "office hours" vary depending on my schedule and what's going on with me each week. @mail is the most reliable way to get ahold of me as I sometimes tend to idle and will occasionally forget to put up an AFK message. I may miss pages if I'm busy, but I won't miss @mail.

GM Scheduling

Because Shadows will largely hinge on volunteer GMs for the first part, this post is designed to match players looking for someone to run a nightmare scene for them with other players who are willing to do the running. If you're interested in GMing a nightmare for another player, please reply to this post with information about:

• what kind of nightmares you'd like to run, should you have a preference (hauntings, flashbacks, the utterly surreal, etc.)
• the best way for interested parties to get ahold of you (@mail, pages, some other method)
• what your online times look like

If you're looking for someone to GM a nightmare for your character, please reply to this post with information about:

• what kind of nightmare you want your character to experience
• what you'd like your character to take away from it
• what your online times look like
• anything else you think might be pertinent (possible NPCs to use, sections of your character's +history that you'd like to exploit, etc.)

If you see a nightmare proposition from a player that you'd like to run, please get in touch with that person! Likewise, if you see a volunteer who looks as though they'd be a good fit for what you have in mind, take the initiative and contact them. One of the goals of this plot is to get people playing with others they haven't yet gotten a chance to, though players who are already well familiar with other people's characters are strongly encouraged to help out too!
