We're going to be opening the wiki back up for folks who want to write a few last scenes, or solo scenes, for the purpose of closure. But before we do, I think we've all got to be on the same page in terms of how to go about it.
Rules like no using other people's characters, nothing totally wild like blowing up properties or destroying factions that belonged to other people. The game has been closed for six years; I was a wizard then, but I feel like so much time has passed that this very much needs to be a group effort for those who want to participate.
I don't know how many wizards are going to participate, as far as NPCs go. Manhattan and I are here. I'm still in contact with Brooklyn and Chinatown from time to time, and they may want to pitch in, or not.
Anyway. This thread is for bouncing ideas off each other and figuring out how to do this in a way where nobody's feelings are hurt and everyone who wants to gets a chance to put in writing what happened to their characters/storylines. I want to give everyone who wants to play in the sandbox as much freedom as possible… since this is the last time, and if it's the last time let's go big or go home.
The last log was dated September of 2011. We were planning on ending the game around the time of Five Years Gone, so I think that should be the end point, generally-speaking (but if people want to do happily ever after epilogues that's probably fine too). Five Years Gone aired in April of 2007… so, April of 2012? Is that right? Do we want to go past that and be writing stuff at an end point of 2017 so there's more freedom for things to have happened? Would it be helpful if the wizards who want to participate put together a rough timeline that people can use as a guide so everything is cohesive in some sense? Thoughts?
