Liu Ye is an up and coming member of the New York Triad group known as the Flying Dragons, the city's largest Chinese crime syndicate. As an Evolved, Liu has gained great renown and fear among his peers, however a single and constant thorn in his side has stunted any further career growth.

Character History:

Originally a region boss for a Heroin trafficing ring, Liu Ye served beneath the Flying Dragons' leader Johnny Eng until the late 1990s when End was imprisoned during a raid on their heroin ring. Liu's father came to become the right hand of the next boss of the Flying Dragons, a young man named Kim Yeoh. However, during the events of the 2006 Bomb, Kim suffered from massive radiation poisoning and was hospitalized, leaving Liu's father Chang in charge of the group in the interim.

When Kim finally passed away in late 2008, Chang ascended to take control of the Flying Dragons in the wake of the Civella family's criminal empire collapsing under the weight of the NYPD and the Linderman group. While Liu is loyal to his father, he and his sister both have an agenda for the Flying Dragons, and feel that in order to truly be successful in the new world that the Evolved have created, the Evolved must be the ones in control.

Evolved Human Ability (Hydrokinesis)

Liu Ye has the ability to manipulate many forms of fluids independantly of their own natural flow. He can change the shape (but not the volume) of any substance classified as a liquid within a certain viscocity. Beer, water, even blood are within his optimal range of manipulation. The thicker the substance the harder Liu must work to manipulate the fluid, substances such as crude oil and honey prove to be slow moving and difficult to manipulate, and semi-solids such as a gel are impossible to command.

Liu can manipulate fluids to take different shapes and forms not bound by the constraints of gravity, such as water taking on a serpentine and slithering quality through the air like a snake, or darts of needle-sharp droplets of water directed at a foe. As long as he has enough volume to manipulate the fluid, he can shape and bend it to any form he wishes.

Liu's power is often utilized to augment or enhance his sister Song's cryokinesis.
