Rusty Warehouse

At one point in the not-so-distant past, this derelict warehouse was used to store loading equipment for the dockyards of Fresh Kills Harbor. Today, it serves as a makeshift prison with storage containers converted into simplistic cells that look out across the warehouse's concrete floor, blocked off with three steel walls and one made from industrial-grade wire mesh with an electrical current running through it to prevent escape.

Each cell is outfitted with a cot, a toilet and sink to provide the prisoners with fresh water, as well as a bucket that can be overturned and used as a stool.

One week, give or take a few days, that's how long Magnes has been here. His primary focus: Escape, find Matt Pacman, Rescue Abby. He's been mostly ignoring any noises the other prisoners may make, using the late afternoon to get in more practice. Who will he have to fight? When? Will they have powers too? These are all questions he tries to push to the back of his head, currently standing on a bucket on one leg, trying to keep that leg heavy, but not too heavy. He knows if he accidentally goes too far, that bucket's going to collapse. "Focus, just like Karate Kid, then I can beat my way out of here…" he says in a whisper that's easily carried through his cell and to the cells immediately near his.

"Whot the fuck are you doing?" Comes the growl of Magnes' new next door neighbor. Ethan Holden, the newest house guest of Kain, Logan, Muldoon and company is sitting against the wall of his own cell. Escape the farthest thing from his mind. He needs to be here, he wants to be here. "If you don't shut up, I'll call the guards to toss you around y'little puff." The Brit says, his cockney accent distinct as it floats from his cell to the next one over.

"I'm training, so I can save Abby." Magnes says in a determined, increasingly confident tone. He stares down at the bucket, trying to make sure it isn't bending or distorting. "If I can control this power, I can get out of here and save her. Who are you, a guard?"
Ellis has partially disconnected.

"Yes, I'm a guard sitting in a cell. I dropped my keys. Sad story, innit?" The Brit asks in a very dry tone. "You're talking like you're four years old." He growls. "Just sit down an' stop be annoying. An' I'll get you out of 'ere. Later. If you don't piss me off." The Wolf practically hisses. Flexing one hand, he watches it idly as he rests his head against his wall. "Whot is your ability?"

Magnes can't help it, even in this dire situation, being able to control a new part of his ability is exciting, so when he jumps from the bucket, it's like someone dropped a sack of bricks. "Gravity. I can control gravity for myself." is the simple answer he gives, not bothering with any pesky details if this is one of those people he has to fight.

"Whot's your name, runt?" The man quips, going to shove up and off the wall he was resting against. A brow arches at the loud noise, though he doesn't think much of it. Or if he does, he makes no sign of it. The man paces the interior of his cell as he speaks to his neighbor.

"Magnes." he introduces, grabbing the bucket and making his arm heavy, which in turn causes the bucket to get heavy and pull him to the floor with a thud. "Ah, man, that hurt. Hey, have you seen Abby? She's blonde, really pretty, around twenty…"

"If you keep up the noise like that boy, I'll bust out of this cell just to snap you're pathetic little neck. Stop messing about." He warns, going to take a seat on his cot. "Magnes." He repeats, a little smirk going up his lips. "You can walk up walls." Magnes… "Varlane? You're a pizza boy. Roight?" The Wolf asks, it's a small world after all.

"You wouldn't 'appen to be talkin' bout Abigail Beucahmp?"

Magnes suddenly sounds rather surprised, turning the bucket upside down so he can sit and listen. "Yeah! How'd you know all that? Have we met before? Or maybe I'm famous?"

A little snort is given. "Because I was going to kill you."Ethan explains as if telling a child the sky was blue.

"Wait… what?!" Magnes asks in pure shock, his bucket skidding back a bit. "Why would you kill me? What'd I do? I just deliver pizza. I mean, I spoke to Sylar that one time and read him a book, but I don't really know him or anything…"

"Because Magnes. It was my job." Ethan says coldly, "Don't worry. I'm not going to kill you anymore. Unless you piss me off." Laying back in his cot, he tucks his hands behind his head. His tone is conversational, he is totally calm. "You know Sylar?" His lips pull back a little. Sylar never informed him of interacting with this.. boy. "'ow did you meet Sylar?"

"Well, I guess as long as you're not doing that anymore. And as far as meeting Sylar, I was skating, didn't know it was him at first, but I coincidentally got into a conversation about him, since I was looking for him at the time." Magnes answers as he stands, brushing off his pants before walking over to sit on the cot. "He asked me how I'd turn Sylar into a good guy, so I explained the story of Galactus, I even showed him the comic book. He was a bit defensive when he finally said who he was, but I gave him my number anyway, in case he needs help."

An eyebrow arches at the words coming out of the boys mouth. For a moment Ethan actually looks confused, before giving a shake of his head. "Why the fuck did they bring you 'ere?"

Magnes shrugs, laying back on the cot with his hands behind his head, fairly exhausted from days of practice. "I was with Abby, she was going home, then these guys came and captured us both. I don't think they were after me, but now they want me to fight or something, and they'll make sure Abby isn't hurt."

Fight? Or just die? "'ow did they catch you? Did they 'ave abilities?" Ethan saks, staring up at the ceiling of his own cell. "'ow many were there?"

"They tasered us. There were a few guys, one was behind us. One guy looked like some kinda Playboy or something, his eyes glow green a lot, and the older guy said he could do whatever he wanted with Abby until she agrees to help them, as long as it doesn't break the agreement." Magnes explains, giving plenty of detail as he begins to trust the other prisoner. "I don't really know why his eyes glow, but I usually feel better when he does it."

"'E makes you feel better? Like 'appy? Or more 'ealthy? Or whot?" He quickly sits up in his cot. "Did you get 'is name? Whot does 'e look like. Listen, runt, I can get you out of 'ere but you 'ave to tell me everything you know, everything you've seen, everything you think you've seen." Ethan says, a tad more urgently than before.
"
Magnes nods affirmatively, sitting up and crossing his legs as he begins trying to recall. "Well, I don't think I got the playboy guy's name, he had kinda light colored hair, sorta blonde or light brown, and when you look at him, he kinda seems like a douche. I keep seeing guards, even when we got kidnapped, so I guess these guys have help. And the older guy that seemed like the person in charge, he touched Abby's face and stuff, saying he wants her to use her powers for them. I think his name was Muldoom or something. I didn't get a good look at the guy who tasered me."

Muldoon. "Does the name Logan sound familiar to you, or Truman? Or Kain Zarek?" Ethan asks, bringing his hand up, his thumb scrubbing at the stubble on his chin. "'ave you seen any other prisoners 'ere?"

Magnes shrugs, shaking his head. "No, I'm pretty sure no one called the Playboy guy by name, but I think Abby might have met him before. And I haven't seen anyone else, they just put me in here yesterday, before they just kept me alone and tied up, bringing me food and stuff. I think someone gave me drugs a few days ago." He pauses for a moment, then suddenly asks, "Hey, you're captured too, how are you gonna get us out? Do you have an ability?"

"Drugs." Ethan mutters. Leaning back on his cot once again, he purses his lips. Folding his hands on his chest he plays with all the possibilities in his head. "Don't worry about that runt, just worry about keeping the noise down. Or I'll leave you 'ere, got it? Yeah, you can say I 'ave an ability." A little smirk raises on his lips. "Let's just say, you should be thankful you're on my team." And with that, he rolls over turning his back to the cell wall.

"Now shu'up."
