He spends a considerable amount of time writing his bible, The Art of the Void, but insists that it's only for alternate versions of himself to read. He's aligned with The Resistance, and generally functions as heavy weaponry, rarely participating in actual planning or duties that involve his actual input.

Background

At the beginning of the war, Magnes remained largely himself, as most would expect. But during an incident where he was heavily augmented in combat for an extended period of time, something strange happened to his mind, and he went entirely blind. With Quinn gone, Magnes tried to stay close to the remaining members of the band, but spent an extended amount of time working with the resistance. His body grew weaker than his more physically active days, but he became far more focused on the fine use of his ability in order to better combat the machines when needed.

He's since written a bible on the nature of gravity, the universe, and his perceptions of such. He's remained a reliable and loyal person to both his friends and the resistance, though the incident clearly changed him in a way that not many people truly understand the nature of, having seen and spoken to something that he referred to as the Void. He grew to spend most of his down time writing and meditating, usually speaking to people when they come to him.

Psych Profile

Magnes in this timeline is someone who speaks very much like he knows some mysterious secret of the universe. He clearly cares for the people around him, but there's often an odd disconnect in the way that he talks about things and perceives the world. He takes on an almost seer or wise man persona, which has oddly given him a strong friendship with Eve Mas, whom he previously had no connection with at all.

He shows very little fear in the face of danger, and seems to be relatively resigned to his fate at times, believing that everything is on the course that it should be, and it'll work out eventually. He does, however, greatly fear for the safety of the people around him, and does his best to stay alive as long as possible to get them through these difficult times. Also he has a weird pseudo-religion that he wrote a bible for, and insists that the bible is only for alternate versions of himself to read. He'll talk about it but will omit many details.

Evolved Ability

His ability works much like Magnes Prime's, but he primarily focuses on shifting the weight of things and making them lighter so that he can move machines around and be tactically useful in combating them, as opposed to Magnes Prime's usually brute force tactics. He also uses his ability to compensate for his blindness, though as he can't determine things like color and texture, it's made him far more slow moving than normal, and he usually uses a walking stick.
