Appendices

Skills:

Athletics
Her education has included some emphasis in athletics while being educated in Europe. Skiing was a frequent vacation pasttime, although she learned how more to fit in rather than out of any real sense of enjoyment. In cold months, ice skating was a more pleasurable activity, and in warmer months, nothing was quite so enjoyable as a rough game of field hockey. Zoe even still has her school stick, which she keeps in the event of unwelcome intruders in her home. Zoe can also keep her seat on a horse, but is not an avid equestrian. She tends to prefer an English saddle over American, but does not ride often.

Culture
Zoe loves all things of 'high' culture. Dance, music, art, she enjoys memberships to all of New York City's various cultural organizations including the currently revitalizing city's ballet and opera companies, along with frequently enjoying art shows and the newly reorganized New York Philharmonic.

History
Zoe's academic forte is history. She has particular expertise in ancient civilizations, but she's no slouch when it comes to anything up to and early twenty-first century. What she doesn't actually know off the top of her head, she knows how to find out. It's not as if she has any difficulty researching. This includes a knowledge of archaeological and anthropoligical research and field study procedures, as well as archive data processing.

Miss Manners
Not that Zoe's big on the upper class social scene, but she does know how to navigate in such circles should the situation require it. She can use the right fork and can not appear completely ignorant at a high society dinner table, though she tends to avoid such except when she can't help it. Mercifully, Linderman doesn't seem inclined to make such demands of her too often.

Public Speaking
While in her personal life Zoe is somewhat shy and she's not keen on teaching, she does enjoy occasional volunteer work in some of New York's still standing museums, serving as a tour guide and presenter on behalf of the Linderman group for school tour groups. Sadly her favorite museum is no longer standing, but the Brooklyn Museum still has a wonder Egyptian exhibit which she has been known to frequent.

Relationships

linderman_icon.gif
Linderman - Daniel Linderman was a friend of Zoe's family, and her legal guardian after her parents died when she was 14. She generally calls him Uncle Daniel, and loves him like a father. They generally spend at least one time a week together, and she is the only other person in the world who knows his pot pie recipe. She is frequently present on his arm at Linderman Group sponsored social events.
