Roosevelt Island, New York — On the afternoon of June the fourth, an accident occurred when the driver of a snowplow suffered a heart attack and lost control of his vehicle. He hit an oncoming vehicle before coming to a stop inside a local coffee shop on Roosevelt Island. The passengers in the struck vehicle all survived with minor injuries and the driver of the snow plow is listed in serious but stable condition thanks to the attentive and excellent help and care provided by bystanders and the staff at the Suresh Center. There was one casualty, a customer in the shop who was not able to move out of the way in time. No charges have been laid, traffic was held up in front of the Suresh Center for a few hours and opened back up come early evening.
