Profile Antoine Boulle was a Catholic priest in Annapes, France in the late 1700s and early 1800s. He was also the prefect of Annapes and commanded significant political and social influence. However, following the public burning of Madeline Rouen for witchcraft in 1812, Antoine was stripped of his title by the French government and fled punishment into Spain, eventually settling in the village of BesalĂș. Boulle died from unknown causes in 1837.
