Appendices

Political Leaning

Cedric Hesser is a member of the Libertarian party. He is a staunch supporter of gun rights and has received significant donations from arms manufacturers and gun lobbies. Hesser advocates to keep the post-war body armor and firearms liberties "open" and to not go back to gun law restrictions.

Attitude Toward SLC-Expressives

Cedric Hesser's stance on SLC-Expressive has changed several times over the years. When he was Governor of Billings, Montana prior to the Second American Civil War he was in firm support of the Linderman Act and mandatory Registration. However, Hesser was one of several US lawmakers who opposed mandatory relocation of Expressives leading up to the Civil War, and fought the creation of relocation centers in Montana. Following the war, Cedric helped draft the Chesterfield Act with an eye toward personal freedoms. Cedric does not believe SLC-Expressives should be regulated or strictly tracked or monitored.
