While she can generate both pleasant and unpleasant smells, she tends to prefer pleasant fragrances. Once Jo has experienced an aromatic sensation she can replicate it with perfect accuracy. Jo's scents are produced by her body and are biological, allowing her to replicate specific unique scent markers of individual people.

Though Jo is loathe to do so, she can also generate powerful unpleasant smells. Some of the scents in her defensive repertoire are skunk musk, rotting fish, and ammonia.
