Ranger

Ranger is an aging bulldog with brown fur all over, save for white gloves, chest, face and most of his head, excepting a small patch around his left ear. His eyes are almost permanently squinted, a result of his fading vision.

Background

When Constantine set up shop in Los Angeles in 1993, Ranger wandered into the clinic one day and laid down by the door as if he had always been there and remained until the sun set, at which point he left. After the third day of this, Constantine decided to put out food for him, and from then on he stayed and has been Constantine's closest friend ever since.
