Background

Benjamin Ryans found a cat in the ruins outside the Safe Zone. He ended up sharing his lunch and without him knowing, she followed him home and made it hers. She adopted this poor human in her mind. Despite Ben's attempts to get her to leave, she never left. This was her kingdom now. Her demeanor earned her the name 'Ruma' in honor of the woman that the cat reminded him of.

They have an understanding now. He allows her to stay and she keeps his home and garden free of most pests.
