Born May 9th in upper state New York,as Adelaide Estellise Xylander, the eldest daughter of well reknowned Ph.D. (OBGYN) Emma (Naimarc) Xylander-daughter of the millionaire genetist family, and Dolph Tireal-Xylander, an well re-knowned musician, a gituarist and violinist, a part of the well known band "Harmonic Unlimited." Adelaide was raised well, her family being well-off she attended the best elementary, middle, and high schools. When she was seven years old her mother gave birth two a set of twin boys, making Adelaide was progress, though her parents were at odds over her future. Her mother wishing to get into a profession to help people, and father wishing to hear his only girl play music-for she played beautifully and sang as,he said, like an Siren. Her lift was filled with watching her little brothers, which would have been alright if each parent had not 'claimed' one brother each and raised them seperately in a sense. Each brother raised to the parents specifications, and Adelaide in the middle a part of both world but neither falling into either. She grew up very much trying to be the bridge in her parents relationship. To bridge their talents and her brothers lives. She was a dreamer, a fantasizer, and believed that world was generally a good place. She lived in this fantasy-dream world for years, the real and surreal mixing in her everyday life.
She was a dreamer, a fantasizer, and believed that world was generally a good place. She lived in this fantasy-dream world for years, the real and surreal mixing in her everyday life. She grew and became something of a staple in her upper class community. Her mother continue to advocate realism and focus on the world of the living and to brush aside her father's fanciful musings. Though for Adelaide it was a constant tug-of-war between her parents in her mind. The world of fantasy-which she loved and lived in almost daily, always clashing with the world of serious realism her mother imposed. It was a constant war with in her. Anger and fear forming, but never welling to the surface.
She entered a rather prestigious high school. Her studies in high school were varied from standard subjects to things such as world cultures, and even a little computer programing. She still performed, nothing pleased her more than to sing at school assemblies and to showcase her talents, though she was modest about the whole thing. As time marched on she began to participate in large programs, all the while the record labels taking notice. Her father had sent the companies recently recorded tapes of Adelaide's now much more mature voice-which had become a lovely soprano.During her latter high school years, her parent's decided to have Adelaide undergo a bit of confidence counseling to give their daughter and the burgeoning young star within her the confidence she needed. Adelaide though by nature was shy to some extent after the counseling sessions and a part-time summer job at a bank, she began to open up and quickly gained a great deal more confidence.
It took her some time, a month after finishing high school, the time that most would have spent prepping for college, for the young woman to make contact and set up an arrangement for herself with a record label that was willing to review her recordings. The record label of her father's friend had indeed picked up on her talents at their local office.Adelaide pushed away the offer of stardom- if only to avoid contracts loop-holes and trouble. She took up writing, prose and songs for the joy of it, and began performing small musical venues and a few small coffee shops to fund her music career- though she did always keep the dream on the back burner.
Her family over the last few years had begun to fall apart. Her mother taking one twin and her father the other, so many years ago had worn the young woman down, mentally and physically. Adelaide had been left very drained by this constant in-fighting.
College was an outlet for her, beginning to explore a new found freedom away from the upper-crust of society of the world and the expectations of such. In her social life her upper class-ship had left both an outcast and someone everyone wanted to have around. Though she decided that college was perhaps best for her. She settled down, and began to work towards having a life attempting to choose her major, her parents mean while decide that instead of having her on campus, they purchased (and paid for) a small home for the young woman.
The Bomb, the Evolved, they changed EVERYTHING. Adelaide's family had been in town for a visit, when it hit- Time's Square, it took her life away. Her family, gone in an instant, because she'd not be home. The Evolved, it'd been like in those comics… she felt lost. She didn't 'care' so much about them but about her family and they were dead now. The funeral was small. Most of her relatives squabled over the money, she was only 18 at the time, going to community college, but most of her family's wealth, went to her. Most relatives weren't happy about this. She locked the money away, banks trust funds, ROTH RIAs anything to keep it secure and have it grow. Her life was her own now-literally. Relatives from though began to develop— to Evolve, most signed themselves right up. Not wanting to be affiliated with the 'Bombers' as her family had termed it. This didn't exactly change her perspective on them, but she did begin to feel sympathetic to them. To her, these were still people-gifted, but still people. She struggled a bit, trying to not dip into her money. A job,a car, her house… nothing was out of place, except the loss of her family.
Summary: Gentle, Naive, Nuturing, Idealistic, Optomistic, Possessive(Of people she considers her's), Friendly & Open.
A headstrong young woman, wanting to forge her own road in the world. Though she's confident she's also knows when to pick her battles. Adelaide's the kind of girl who'll stand her ground when she believes in something. If anything Adelaide's desire is to make others acknowledge her point of view, which she'll attempt to do, not by howling the loudest but acting as the voice of reason. She's a sweet one, headstrong but its the kind of headstrong that develops because she has ideals, and dreams, visions of what she wants the future to be. And she /will/ make it happen, even if it means sometimes going against what others are saying. She's an optimist, and cares about the well being of others, and her determination, sometimes translates into stubbornness when she decides to take someone under tutelage. She's a teacher at heart, sometimes strict, other times very relaxed, if she thinks you need to learn a lesson she will give you one, even if your an adult. She's always questioning, and wondering. In short Adelaide's headstrong, fierce, and compassionate girl, who wants to educate & heal people, and help them make decisions based on bigger questions, and the inter-connectedness of things.
She is a ball of energy, reflective, and idealistic, but friendly all the time. Even in the midst of an argument she's the first one to want to smooth things over. Interested in serving the greater good-reguardless of what the others say, she has a well-developed value system and is extremely loyal. She is adaptable and laid-back unless a strongly-held value is threatened. Mentally quick, and able to see possibilities. She is interested in understanding and helping others. She is one of those people who doesn't ever get discouraged not by the even by the worse circumstances.
For Adelaide the world exists as place where anything is possible. And nothing will stop her from making other peoples dreams happen. She has dreams of her own of course, and she'll seem them through with a determination that's optimistic. She's possessive about people to say the least, feeling everything with the very core her being, emotions run a little wild in her. She lives life a little timidly from time to time, but when she decides to do something she's right there.
A seemingly tranquil, and noticeably pleasant face to the world, she is anything but reserved, having a capacity for caring persons or a favorite cause, and her fervent aim is to bring peace and integrity to her loved ones and the world. She has a profound sense of idealism derived from a strong personal morality, and the concept of the world as an ethical, honorable place. She seeks unity in her life, unity of body and mind, emotions and intellect.

*Read/View Memories
*Description: Adelaide can conciously pick up on people's memories. She views either as a third party observer, simple watching or as a participant(she'll usually be the person in the memory). This power also allows her stand in a person's mind-scape, and pick and choose which memories to view.
- It allows her to pull memories in about three -five minutes, experiencing them might take longer. Adelaide can choose surface memories by visiting someone's mind scape, but for deeper ones (which can be slightly more invasive and be resisted by willpower/telepathy) she needs time, to become aquainted with a mental landscape and side step personal mental defenses. It's like a maze in some peoples minds or an open field in others. She needs at least 10 minutes to navigate the mind's landscape and sometimes longer to find the particular memory and view it. Drugs, alcohol all mental imparitives make the mind's landscape more maleable, but also making harder to view- it's like wearing beer goggles.
- Drawbacks:Physically draining, also needs to be still, either siting, or standing which makes her more unaware of her surroundings. She also needs at least a 5-15 minute cat-nap.
Unlike most high class apartments, Adelaide's penthouse is a a top floor split level affair. The top most floor houses the master and some of the extra bed rooms, the bottom the library- study, den and multimedia room, the office and a large eat-in kitchen and living room. All of it decorated in furniture that at one point must have belong in a well loved home, as while its expensive it is mostly 'child resistant' type, no white couches here. Though many of the wall pictures are of family, or group shops of what could be assumed are Adelaide's family and friends.

Her music is generally in omnibus style; an album contains multiple stories with different themes that create one long story. Soprano or mezzo-soprano vocals are mainly utilized, along with strong instrumentation and instrumental peices. Usage of narration is not restrained. Strong anime influences and applications are apparent in her music. The lyrics are very often mysterious and metaphorical, even more so than those of other with themes varying from fantastic ones like ancient curse, legend, dreams, war, and paradise to forbidden lust, longing, obsession, crime, relationships, etc. (Borrowed & Modified from Wikipedia's Sound horizon page)
