Pre-Game History:
Little Known Past
Most of Claire's past isn't clear, there are only bits and pieces known. Such as she was the product of Nathan Petrelli with Meredith Gordon. The two were lovers for a time, though the how and the why of their meeting isn't known. Differences in their social upbringings eventually forced them to part around the time that Meredith found out she was pregnant.
Around 1992, Noah Bennet and his partner at the time, Claude, were sent by the Company to 'Bag and Tag' Meredith. Things went wrong and Claire's mother exploded almost taking the baby and the two agents with her. Noah at the urging of Claude, saved the tiny Claire from the fire. They took the baby back to Kaito, who in turn told Noah that he would take baby Claire and raise her until the day her powers manifest. Once her ability manifested, he was to give her back to the Company. There was some protesting from Noah, but he finally relented. That is how Claire came to live with the Bennets. While, Nathan was never told that Meredith or his daughter had survived the blaze.
Breaking Bones
There are hints that Claire was never a sick baby, meaning that even as a baby her ability might have had a mild, low-key presence in her life. This hasn't been confirmed but it's not too far fetched and idea. But the real revelation came around the time Claire was in high school. It is unclear how she found out about it initially, but when she did she kept it a secret. She tested her ability to its limits and she found quickly that there didn't seem to be any limits to what she could do. She was what all teenagers imagine themselves to be: invincible.
Eventually, she brought her friend Zach in on her secret asking him to video tape her tests so that there was documentation of what she could do. Over and over, she subjected herself to self-inflicted pain and torture in front of the camera.
The real first use of her abilities in a heroic way came on Claire and Zach's way home from the taping of her demonstrations. They came across a train wreak and Claire took it upon herself to search the wreckage where the firemen wouldn't go and as a result saved a life. Of course, no one knew who the mysterious cheerleader was and Claire was too scared of her life coming under a microscope and someone finding out about her ability. Reluctantly, she allowed a fellow cheerleader, Jackie, to take the credit.
It quickly became apparent that keeping her ability a secret was going to be hard, when she fell for a real scum bag. She also discovered just how far her ability went. During a bonfire rally, this guy she had a crush for, Brody, tried to get too intimate with her. When she struggled against his unwanted advances, she was forced to the ground where a sharp stick impaled her brain, killing her. Or so they thought. When the medical examiner pulled the stick out of her head, she was revived and her body healed — after she pulled the parts back together. Ew!
When Bushy-Browed Psychos Attack
The dangers of being what she was became a harsh reality at Homecoming. A creepy man, Sylar, came into the locker room during an argument between Jackie and Claire about who really saved that man on th train. Sylar grabbed Jackie and started slicing open the top of her head telekinetically. When Claire tried to stop him, Sylar tossed Claire into a wall hard enough that her injuries should have been fatal. Instead, she got up and ran.
With Sylar on her tail, she was sure she was dead. She ran into another man, who told her to run while he stalled the killer. She never saw what happened, but when she returned to the building, she found her hero in a bloody mess on the ground. To her amazement, he started to heal. This was someone like her and she found out his name was Peter.
After that incident, she found she couldn't keep her abilities hidden from her father, Noah, any longer. He already knew about her ability, which was a surprise. She told him everything that had happened to her, but didn't expect what happened next. The people around her were starting to forget what had happened to her. The hardest blow came when Zach started treating her like they had never been friends. She was in a panic, not knowing what was happening. The answer came soon enough when The Haitian showed up. He told her that her father had sent him to erase her memory, but he wasn't going to do that. She would have to pretend that he had, which would prove to be harder than it sounded.
Biological Ties
While at home, she tried to keep her father convinced she had no memory of that night, but at school she tried to rekindle the friendship she lost with Zach. However, Zach wanted nothing to do with her. This hurt her, so when she met up with The Haitian again, she asked him to give Zach's memories back. He told her that he could not. So in an attempt to win her friend back, she pulled him out to the same place where they filmed before. Once there, she had him film her using her ability again.
A few days earlier, her father brought over two people who swore to be her parents. When she asked The Haitian, he told her those people work for Noah and were not her parents. He told that he had no idea who her father was, but that her mother had died in a fire. Curious, Claire and Zach hunted down a news article from that day and found out her name was Meredith. Deciding to hunt down information, Claire called around and ended up on the phone with Meredith herself. She had found her biological mom.
Skipping school and saying she and Zach had tickets for an aquarium, Claire went to meet her mother for the first time. She was surprised to find out that her mother had an ability – she was a pyrokinetic. When asked about who Claire's biological father was, her mother dodged the question saying it was complicated. When she finally returned home, Sandra chastised her for skipping school. It seemed The Haitian had wiped her mind again. But Why? This worried Claire.
Of course, Noah found out that Claire had been lying about where she had been, telling her the tickets were fake. As a result, he grounded her. This prompted Claire to call Meredith and ask her again about her father. His name was never given, but she was told that he was flying down from New York. Claire asked if she could come meet him, but Meredith told her it might not be a good idea, although promised to ask if he'd like to met her.
Determined to meet her biological father, Claire snuck over to Meredith's. She ended up being told that her father was unreliable and only good for money. Meredith also broke the news that she was heading down to Mexico again. Claire stuck around and listened to the conversation from outside the trailer. What she heard was upsetting enough to prompt her to throw a rock at his car. Of course, her day didn't get any better when she returned home, her mother Sandra was freaking out over the dog and didn't remember who Claire was.
Exposed To The Company
Thankfully, the loss of memory only lasted a minute or two, but Claire was still freaked. Was it a result of too many mind wipes? A few moments after, her mother collapsed while Claire was talking to her, landing her in th hospital. This seemed like the last straw. Whatever reason her father was wiping minds for was hurting her family. She tried to tell the doctor about the mind wiping, but of course it got back to her father. There was a big fight about it and Noah explained to her that Sylar showed up at the house and he didn't mean for her mother to get hurt. Of course, she didn't believe him. She made up her mind that her mom and brother needed to be protected from Noah.
Returning home, the Bennets found themselves held hostage by two men: Ted Sprague and Matt Parkman, who wanted information from Noah. Claire learned a few things from Matt about why they were there and what happened to them, as well as Noah's part in it. An attempt by her father to grab a gun resulted in a scuffle that ended with Ted threatening to kill Sandra since his own wife died from what Noah did to him. Matt managed to catch Claire and Noah's thoughts and shoots Claire killing her, knowing that she would heal.
Waking in her bedroom, Claire coughed up the bullet while Matt and Noah watched. Noah told her and Matt, who didn't seem to agree with what Ted was doing, that the Company didn't know about his daughter or they would have taken her away. Coming up with a plan, Matt tried to convince Ted to go with Noah to Primatech to get what they needed. That failed with Matt having to go with Noah and Ted threatening to blow the rest of the family up. As far as Ted knew, Claire was still dead, so she tried to use that to her advantage. Her brother managed to get out during the escape, but her mother refused to leave when Ted captured Claire.
Matt and Noah returned, but the answers they brought didn't make Ted happy. A man, named Thompson, snuck in and shot Ted, making him start to lose control of his power. The only one that seemed to have the ability to stop Ted, was Claire. She could get close to him and not die. In the process of doing that, she was burned badly and when she stepped outside everyone watched, including Thompson, as she healed. The Company now knew about her ability and wanted to bring her in.
Noah is forced to bring Claire in, but instead he takes her to The Haitian. She had to watch as her father is shot and his memories erased. She was now on the run.
The Bomb
While the orders were to take Claire to the airport and get her out of the country, she had plans of her own. Stealing The Haitian's passport and stuff, she ditched him so that she could makes her way to New York and find Peter. She got to New York, but instead of finding Peter, she came face to face with The Haitian her grandmother — Angela Petrelli. Claire learned from Angela that neither Peter nor Nathan knew about her, and Angela kept it that way by letting Nathan think the baby died in the fire. She then urged Claire to go to Paris.
Unfortunately, everything was disrupted when Nathan brings Angela Peter's dead body. While mourning over Peter's body, Claire brushed a hand over the back of his head and found a shard of glass. Pulling it out allowed Peter's body to finally heal, bringing him back to life. Peter was convinced that she was central to all that was happening and tried to convince her to stay in the U.S. and help stop the bomb… that bomb being him.
Her grandmother and The Haitian were a much stronger force and were convinced that it was in the best interest of everyone if she went to Paris. So she was drug against her will and regretted not fighting harder as soon as the reports of the bomb started to fill the TV screens of Paris. She couldn't escape it. The footage of the smoldering wreckage that used to be midtown. The tear-filled faces of a nation torn apart because of some terrorist act. She watched as people were hunted down just for being different.
Claire started to blame herself. Her uncle had told her that she was the one that could stop him, yet she had run away. She was the reason her beloved country was falling apart. The guilt of it tore at her, driving her into a self-loathing depression that made it harder for her to be a good girl and stay like her grandmother wanted.
Going Home Again
Claire soon started to feel the pull of home, but not to the Petrellis. She wanted to go back to her true home with the Bennets. So around Christmas of '06, she raced back to th U.S. in search of home. It took some doing, but she tracked them down to Costa Verde. They were in hiding by the last name of Butler. Reunited with her family, Claire found it hard to settle into a new life and to be a normal teenager. She had been through too much for that and the guilt of what she had done weighed too heavily on her shoulders. How do you go to high school and go to the mall after half of what she had done?
The guilt alone alone made her cranky and irritable. While she loved Noah, she didn't feel she could wholly trust him either. Deep down she just knew he was still involved with things. She did find herself a good distraction in the form of West Rosen, a young evolve who could fly.
He was odd, amusing… and a bit of a pest. He called her a 'Robot' for wanting to be a cheerleader again. He always seemed to be there to make some sort of smart-ass comment. She didn't take him seriously until she learned about his ability to fly. With someone like her around, she no longer felt so alone. Of course, Noah was a typical dad and freaked out about her seeing a boy, though with some soothing from Sandra he backed off a bit. Except for the guilt and constant reminders of her failure, Claire felt her life trying to fall into more normal patterns.
West and her traded stories about their abilities. West told her about the man with the horn-rimmed glasses. This disturbed Claire, since she knew that he was describing her father, Noah. She couldn't keep it a secret for long, but she tried. Everytime she thought she'd start to tell him, she'd chicken out. Fate had other plans when West showed up at the Butler household and Noah was the one that opened the door. West's discovery that Claire's father was the man from his abduction put a wall between them. He wanted nothing to do with her. Of course, like any teenage girl, she blamed her father. If he hadn't worked for Primatech, this would not have happened. Truthfully, if she had told him right away, this possibly would not have happened.
Claire was persistent, she had feelings for West and wanted him to be a part of her life, so she wasn't going to let him go that easily. But it ended up being a move on West's part that solved all that, with the two men seeming to come to some sort of understanding.
Linderman Act And A New Direction
Life was pretty good until the day the Linderman Act was passed. Claire thought of it as the worst idea ever imagined. Sure she could kind of understand the need, but she couldn't imagine letting the government have that much access to that kind of information about her or anyone. It was just too much and brought back that ever-present guilt. If only she had been there to stop Peter, then no one would have had to do this. Seemed like a lot of her life was full of if's. West confronted her one day and told her to stop with the 'if' and actually step up and do something about it, but the question was 'how?' They kicked around ideas for a time, but nothing stuck out. It was on the anniversary of the bombing that made them realize they needed to go to the heart of th problem. So, deciding that hiding away in Costa Verde was not the way to do it, her and West packed up and headed to New York in search of answers.
When they got there, things didn't happen right away. They had to get jobs and find a place to live. Claire decided to celebrate the change in her life by going from blonde to brunette. They kept their ears to the ground, listening for a way to help any resistance. That opportunity came in the form of a group of young adults that made up a group calling themselves PARIAH. Her and West joined their ranks, and were thrown into on the job training, so to speak. Claire learned a lot of the skills she'd need as a young terrorist. She gained a best friend in the form of Helena Dean, who was always borrowing her clothes. The thing that kept her going was the knowledge that she could make up for past mistakes. She could try and right the wrongs created when she wasn't there to stop her uncle.
In Game History
Reunion, Primatech, and Registration
It was during a sunset overlooking the Midtown ruins that Peter flew back into her life. Both were happy to see each other safe. The enthusiasm didn't last long when Peter found out Claire was a terrorist working with PARIAH. Peter was not happy with how the group worked. The two parted on sour terms, though imagine her surprise when Peter returned a few days later with a proposition for the leader of PARIAH, Cameron Spalding. They would change from just merely bombing things and causing havoc to become a cause. So Claire got to work with her uncle again, though the interest between him and her best friend Helena Dean unsettled her.
Primatech came to their attention shortly after Peter joined their ranks. Mohinder brought them information that Sylar and others were being held on Level 5. Peter was determined to go in and kill Sylar before he escaped. Claire seemed to disagree with him on this – she would preferred to get everyone else out and leave Sylar there. She does, however, relent and they start planning to free prisoners and get Sylar.
After getting schematics from Wireless and a warning that Matt told them they were coming, PARIAH decided to go in regardless. While the operation seemed to start off flawlessly, it quickly went downhill when Matt revealed that Mohinder wasn't who he appeared. It ended up being Sylar. The mission seemed to go to hell after that, with Peter and Sylar fighting, while the rest of PARIAH tried to get out. Claire found herself taken by Matt and arrested into Homeland's care.
While in custody, Claire was interrogated by Matt. He wanted to know how they got the information, but she blocked him by reciting her crappy attempt at Spanish. In his frustration, Matt inadvertently threw Claire into a hellish nightmare in her mind where Sylar was free and killing everyone she loved. Later in the day, Matt returned and woke her up, convincing her it was all a dream. He handed her a card and informed her she was now registered.
Grounded with Grandma
Once he was done with her, Matt delivered Claire into Angela Petrelli's care. Claire was relieved to see her grandmother was okay, since the last time she had seen her was in Paris. She apologized to her grandmother for leaving Paris like she did and promised to herself she would not just up and leave like that again.
The next day, Helena showed up at Petrelli mansion door dressed as a pizza delivery person to check up on Claire and possibly help her escape. Claire found out that Peter was missing and no on could find him. In return, she told Helena about her forced registration. When her friend suggested that they talk to Wireless about changing her registration. Claire refused, worried that Homeland would be expecting it. So instead, Helena tried to convince her to leave and go back to PARIAH. Again, Clair refused. She didn't want to disappear on her grandmother again. She felt it would be unfair. They worked out a way to communicate and Helena went on her way.
Claire continued to be active with PARIAH, helping Helena out when she could. She even went with her when she went to meet with Sylar. The bushy-browed man knew where to find Peter and was offering to get him if PARIAH found Elle for him. He wanted to make an exchange.
Nothing really came of that meeting. Claire was fairly out of the loop. Another meet-up with Helena and the former cheerleader learned that her Uncle was working for the Company. Peter's mind had been erased of the last two years. Not just that, but PARIAH was slowly falling apart and her friend needed her. So finally, the young woman moved back with her friends.
Divisions
Claire's return to the ranks of PARIAH came before huge changes were thrown into works. Now leader, Helena told PARIAH that she wanted to throw them in with the Ferrymen. Of course, a small group didn't agree with this. Claire was torn, but in the end she followed West and left the meeting in tears as she walked away from her best friend. So while Helena formed Pheonix, Claire continued on with what was left of PARIAH.
Eventually, Peter returned to PARIAH and chaos came along as someone blew up a high school in their name. This wasn't what they stood for, and she spent sometime convincing her old friend with Pheonix that this was not their doing. She even touched based with Helena again at their favorite shopping spot. Helena, revealed that Peter had been in contact with a replicator and that he had ended up splitting into two Peters. One Peter was with PARIAH – the other with The Company. Claire was also warned that the PARIAH Peter wanted to kill the other version of himself. Helena warned that it was would be too dangerous for Peter to do that.
Determined to convince him to stop, Claire went to talk to Peter. The talk didn't go as well had she hoped. Peter was determined to take out the other him stating that he was everything that was evil within himself. Fearing that her uncle would leave her again if he merged, she agrees to help him. Peter threw in her face that he had once before asked her to help him and she had failed to be there. Claire promised that would be there for him and pull the trigger this time.
As promised, Claire arrived to assist one version of Peter. Little did either of them expect, Agent Petrelli brought re-enforcements, one being Sylar himself. The battle was an epic one, until Agent Petrelli tossed Claire through a van when she unloaded her shotgun into him. It somehow killed her. This stopped both halves of Peter in their tracks and both ran to her aid. It was Agent Petrelli that found the shard of glass in the back of Claire's skull. Returning to life again, Claire was pissed. Pushing them both away, Claire left, telling them to fix their own problem. So she wasn't there to see him get captured, but at least she did as she promised — she pulled the trigger.
PARIAH's End
It seemed like things were not getting much better. SCOUT was coming after them. PARIAH had known about it and were prepared when the NYPD group showed up. Bullets flew, the blood flowed, and PARIAH lost it's leader. The remaining members of the group were scattered, leaving Claire with Julian Kuhr, a man she felt very close too. They decided to watch out for each other, lay low for a time and made a promise not to go crawling to Phoenix.
Weeks went by and a man by the name of Rupe Carmichael approached the pair with an idea. He said that PARIAH should stay dead, but the memories and cause should live on in its members. He felt a change in how they operated was needed. They would fly under the radar and work as a team and learn to be more then their powers. Their main goal was to take down SCOUT, discredit them and try to get them disbanded. It all seemed like it would work, and they gained many members, but plans seemed to fall by the wayside. Claire kept busy with her small operations to free evolved from the government, no matter who they were. However, things started to slowly change again. Friends started to disappear into government custody.
Change Of Plans
Feeling the loneliness of burned bridges and missing friends, Claire found herself turning to Abigail Beauchamp, someone she met through her time in PARIAH, for an ear to talk to. Though they had only talked a few times, Abby seemed willing to listen to the depressed woman. While she was going on about how Julian was gone without a trace like Helena, Cathrine Chesterfield showed up. Claire was given hope when Cat revealed she knew where their friends were. However, she didn't ask details right away.
The next night, while hanging around the Midtown ruins, Hiro showed up. He told Claire he planned to try and free Peter from Moab during Phoenix's operation. He wanted her help in freeing her uncle. She was also told that her biological father was the one getting them in and that he was a good man. Claire told Hiro she would gladly help free Peter.
Claire went to Cat as soon as she could to tell her that she was going to help. Of course, it figured that Cat already knew that she agreed. Claire was shown photos of the facility. There was also interesting news — Arthur Petrelli was still alive. Her grandfather was alive and kicking.
Claire learned first-hand that her, grandfather was alive. As she left Cat's, she was confronted by Roger Goodman who told her that Arthur needed her help. Unaware of what would happen, Claire got in the car Goodman had waiting, though he did not join her. She was taken to Pinehearst and there met with Maury Parkman, who took her to Arthur's bedside. Once she saw her grandfather was a frail man in a hospital bed, she was hesitant to go to him, so Maury used his ability to make her go to Arthur.
Arthur took her ability, healing himself of anything done to him, but leaving Claire a weak shell of a person. Afraid that she would cause problems Arthur had her thrown into a cell, promising that he'd get her ability back to her as soon as he could.
Powerless
Claire wanted to believe that her grandfather would do what he said he would, but he never came to see her. He did, however, free her from the facility after she had a talk with Peter and agreed to work for Pinehearst. She was left to her own devices. She went to the first place she could think of — Abby's place. Arriving at the blondes home, she was greeted warmly and taken in. She wanted to find Peter and when Helena came to see her Claire was ready to go find him. She was convinced to wait and lay low, so she started to busy herself with hand-to-hand lessons with Wireless, preparing just in case she never gets her ability back.
Now Claire has to try and ignore the pain in her limbs and the fear of what will happen if she gets sick. What changes are in store for the former cheerleader?
Recent Developments
With the loss of her ability Claire went through a very eye opening experience – She got sick. It started out as an innocent cold and a cough and blossomed into something so nasty that before Delphine could get to her, Claire died from blood filled lungs.
Luckily for Claire, the Irishwoman's ability still worked and Claire's ability was restore and allowed her body to revive again, saving her.
PLEASE NOTE: On the subject of healing with her blood. Be aware, Claire does not know she can do this. So don't even ask. And in truth I would rather her not learn it, giving a reason for other healers to get some action. Seriously folks.. Use the healers! If Staff wants to get it from her somehow and use it for a plot point behind her back… more power to them. They are the staff and they are awsome and know what's best for this game and keeping it fair for all. And even when all is said and done, I agree with and stand by their decision.
Rapid Cell Regeneration
All the cells in Claire's body are in a heightened state of regeneration. Meaning they split and divide at a much faster rate then normal people's cells, so that wounds and infections are repaired very quickly. This ability also seems to effect her ability to metabolize things, such as alcohol and other drugs, which could be either a good or a bad thing. It's been mentioned before that Claire has never been sick, so chances are her ability has been active in a lesser form of her not getting sick since her birth.
Healing
She can heal back from any wound as long as it does not stop the function of a certain part her brain. It's been made obvious that she can not heal her body with larger objects still in it. Smaller objects such as bullets are a whole different story. Those can be expelled by the body with ease. In this same thread of thinking, her body parts must be in their proper place before healing may occur — such as setting her bone so it can heal. If the wound is a large one, such as her being laid open on the coroner's table, she needs to hold the wound closed until it can knit together. Blood is never drawn back into her body, which means that she's left a bloody mess no matter what happens.
Another aspect of her healing is her ability to heal others. If a measured amount of her blood is injected into someone, it will heal them from any injury, regrow missing limbs and tissue, and even bring them back if they are freshly dead. Again, the same limitations apply. (e.g., broken body parts having to be in place and objects removed, ect.)
Regrowing Parts
Even after she loses a limb, her ability can direct her cells into remembering what was there and reforming it. The wound must be fresh, so she might have to open up an older wound to give her body something to work with. It is likely that process would be uncomfortable and even a bit painful.
When it comes to someone else's limb she cannot regrow what was not there in the first place. She cannot use her blood to grow anything not written into their DNA (e.g., genetic mutations, birth abnormalities, ect.)
High Pain Tolerance
Due to the fact that her body repairs so rapidly, this has the side effect of increasing Claire's pain tolerance. She feels pain just as intensely as the next person, but the pain goes away quickly. While she hurts like hell, she can still function and do what needs to be done.
Immortal
Due to the fact her cells are always in a heightened state of activity, Claire will never die of natural causes, nor will she age or get sick in anyway. When her body reaches the age that cells start to die off, hers won't. So in that respect she is immortal. She can still be killed by other methods, such as decapitation or severe brain damage.
The Off Switch
There is a microscopic spot in her brain at the back of her skull that if hit turns off her ability and she dies. However, this only lasts as long as there is some thing there and it has to be large enough to wedge in. Small items, including bullets, will be expelled. Once the object has been removed and the degeneration to her body isn't too far along, she should be able to come back to life. She can be killed with her ability suppressed, head or brain removed, and by drowning. Her brain cells cannot live without access to oxygen. If the conditions are rectified in time, she can come back.
Somewhat Immunocompromised
Due to her ability being able to heal everything, even illness, her body has not developed a proper immune system, leaving her somewhat immunocompromised without her ability. If her ability is suppressed her body would be invade quickly by diseases. In such a case, even the common cold could lead to her death without proper treatment. Wounds left uncleaned and exposed could become seriously infected by the most innocuous bacteria. She has to be careful of what she does and how she does it. She will have to think first.

Skills
Athletic
Thanks to her time as a cheerleader as a foundation, Claire is fairly athletic. Light-footed and agile, she can tumble and turn cartwheels. More importantly, she has kept herself in shape with jogging and various other cardiovascular exercises. Some of this is helped along with her ability as any torn or pulled muscles are healed quickly.
Firearms
She is not the world's greatest shot, but Claire has had to learn to use a firearm. While she knows how to handle hand guns, she seems to have an affinity for shotguns.
Brawling
Since Claire doesn't normally have to worry about how injured she gets in a fight, due to her ability, she's not afraid to get right into the action and beat the crud out of someone. From cat fighting to using a stick or other blunt instrument, she is not afraid to go all out.
Guerrilla Combat
There is no other way to describe it. Helped along with her ability Claire is not beyond taking the down and dirty road to accomplishing her goal as long as civilians are not hurt along the way. She's is not afraid to handle explosives, either, since if they go off, she'll just regenerate.
Street Smarts
She has had to live rather rough for a couple of years now, not always having a lot of money, spending a lot of time on the run. She has had to learn how to deal with the rough streets of New York. This includes some basic lock picking she learned from Laura Morgan.
Fashion Sense
Okay, so she's had to tone it down over the last couple of years, but Claire still loves fashion. She likes to keep up on the newest trends even though she had to wear a lot of black and combat boots. Of course, black is all the rage with the terrorist groups.
Relationships
Update in ProgressWith so many important people in her life, Claire's relations are pretty big. Some of the Tabs are pretty spammy. You've been warned. ;)
Cardinal's ragtag band of people. This is who Claire spends most of her time helping. Their orders and direction seem to come from the dead man Dr. Edward Ray. For the moment in pursuit of answers, Claire has (sort of) left EndGame for MESSIAH, but she'll always be EndGame.
Richard Cardinal - Head of EndGame - Of all the people she's met in the last five months, Richard is the only one that she still remembers, but only barely. She remembers when he helped her, staying by her side when she was ill even though at the time they were complete strangers. Even now that holds a lot of weight for her. She also remembers when he told her about her grandfathers death. Those two memories, but nothing more. However, there are the memory of emotions she feels when she's around him. He's something like family to her.. like a big brother, though.. there was that time in Antartica that she kissed him for saving her uncle, Peter.. um.. yeah. Okay so there are a couple of emotions there.. but she is pretty happy to remain strictly friends. Trust is total and complete in the shadow man and she's not afraid to go to him if she needs someone to talk to. The thing that kills her the most about him right now is the fact he's a shadow and the risk to him coming out of the shadows is too great. Hopefully, one day she can hug him again.
Elisabeth Harrison - Second in Charge of EndGame - This is Cardinal's main squeeze. While Claire has no memories of Liz and they may have never been close before, the tragedy of the memory loss seems to have drawn these two together into fast friends. She has such strength and conviction and Claire totally respects that about her. She is some one that Claire feels she can trust and has no problem being completely open too.. Even to the point of sharing the deepest secret… How to kill Claire Bennet. What comes of this friendship has yet to be seen, but there is no doubt these two women will have each others back and Cardinal's as well.
Gillian - One of the groups researchers and was on the Apollo Mission to Antarctica. Her ability helps boost others which can be rather scary. Claire likes her and hopes that even tho' Claire has to stay away from EndGame, they can still get to know each other better.
Peyton - Another forgotten face. Hopefully she can meet her again.
Xiulan - Anything she did know of this person is gone with the wind.
Niki/Jessica - Fill this in soon. |
Peter Petrelli (Uncle) - If Claire has an Achellies Heel, it is Peter. Her hero who saved her from a psycho, she looks up to and trusts the man completely with no argument. She will always feel the guilt of the one time she wasn't there for him; When he blew up Midtown. It's this huge burden on her shoulders, which drives her to prove to him that she won't fail him again and she didn't. During the mission again the Vanguard she was there to save him. He's a bit different, a little distant, but he is alive and that is all she cares about.
Rupert Carmichael - Filling in soon.
Gabriel Gray - It's been a year or more since she'd seen him and they ended up on the same team. They fought the enemy together and worked very well. It was startling for Claire. She almost wanted to like him even if he was his normal brooding self. However, what little bit of a flick of forgiveness there was died the night he attacked her. She was upset about it, really who could blame her. But, after talking to him later on. She can to understand why and… understood. She can't forgive him or trust him, but she will understand him. Is there reconciliation in the future? Who knows.
Huruma - Despite this woman being a large dark giant compared to Claire's pale and tiny, the ex-cheerleader doesn't seem all that intimidated by the cannibal. Though her memories of the woman are vague at best.
Melissa Pierce - Fill in soon.
Perry Jones - Fill in soon.
Ash Williams - Fill in soon.
Harrison Jones - Filling in soon.
Knox - He is the one she's had the most contact with. One of her old PARIAH buddies, they are back on the same team again. A part of her feels good about that.
Rebel - A Technopath that is the mixture of three other technopaths. She's leery of this guy. He's giving her orders that are not known by MESSIAH. Not to mention he screwed her over by not telling her the guy, who's apartment she was breaking into, was in the building. Forcing her to be a fugitive again.
West - Claire's Ex-boyfriend and former PARIAH teammate. Not much to say about him. :P
Rickham - She doesn't know what his deal is within the group, but that will come out eventually. |
These are the people that she met during her time overseas. Team Bravo, in Claire's mind, was full of some of the worse people. Does that mean she is too? However, she also believes there is no better team she could have hoped for. Team Bravo was a killing machine and a force to be feared. She would work with them again (NOT DANKO). Even that said, memories of the trip are full of holes, lost sections of time, tho it seems she got to keep the horrors.
Lieutenant Adelle Sanderson - Claire's first impression of the woman was not a good one, especially when she saw the woman with her hands on Magnes. However, in the few days they've been on the same team, Claire's learning to trust her training and sees her as probably the only other sane person in the group. She likes her a lot as they both went through the same hell there is some connection there. Claire will stay in touch with this woman and keep up the frail friendship there.
Eileen Ruskin - When she first woke from her shotgun injury, Claire could not remember her. However, she remembered a lot of the memories of the battles and being decoys. She likes this woman, trusts her to a point and will continue to have her back even now when they are in New York again.
Noriko - Of all the Team member, beyond Gabriel, Noriko was the only person she actually remembered her name. This hydrokinetic is a mystery to Claire beyond that. Of course, the woman no longer has memories of the trip at all.
Donald Dixon - DECEASED - One of the Marines that got stuck with all the crazies on bravo team. Claire has hardly any memory of him. But she remembers he was a prisoner of Rasoul. Sadly, the brave man died saving Noriko from the flame of the incinerator. Claire tried to pull him out, but the broiler went of just as she grabbed him. He burned alive in her arms. It's one of the things that will always haunt her on the trip. She wore his heat warped tags from there on, a reminder of what was lost.
Emile Danko - Dear god! WTF!?! He was in Team Bravo 1.0. The whole team but him was wiped out, which is kinda suspicious. Even being old, he's a nimble fighter of impressive skill, even if he does go rather overboard with it. Her only memory of the bastard was during a boat fight. She hopes she never sees him again, cause she will kill him for shooting Gabriel. |
Helena Dean - She's known Helena for a long time. They were like total BFFs, as Helena was always wearing her clothes when they lived near each other. There was some strain in their friendship and they haven't exactly recovered from it, but Claire will be there when she can to help her when she needs it.
Eve Mas - They may not be as close, but Claire has known Eve for sometime.
Abigail Beauchamp - She has helped Claire in many ways, and Claire appreciates all of it. She gave her a place to sleep, fed her and took care of her when she was at her worse. If that isn't a friend, I dunno what is.
Magnes Varlane (Ex-Boyfriend) -The shotgun blast to Claire's head took away everything her and Magnes were to each other. The boy she met with this wiped slate, Claire simply could not believe they dated. He stands as a testimate of just how much Madagascar changed her. While they may not be dating anymore, Claire will always look to him as a strange and unusual friend. |
Claire's family is large and as dysfunctional as it gets. :P
Sandra Bennet (Adoptive Mother) - The woman who raised her. She's always been someone that Claire looks to for advice and someone she leans on. She love her mom dearly and worries about her being in New York. Of course her mom doesn't like the life Claire is leading period. The ex-cheerleader hopes that one day her mom will understand what she does is important, even if it is dangerous.
Noah Bennet (Adoptive Father) - Claire might hate everything Noah has done, but she loves her daddy. She is still deep down his Claire-Bear, which is probably why she avoids him. She is trying to be a tough girl and prove herself to him, if she sees him she will probably run into his arms. During the mission to find the nuke, Claire had to make some decisions that really opened her eyes to what he probably went through all those years.
Nathan Petrelli (Biological Father) - She hasn't really gotten to know her real father. She can count on her hands how many times she's seen him. She's been told he's a good man and a bad man, but she needs more time with him before she can make that choice on her own. His position as President makes all that nearly impossible to get close to him. Of course, she wonders if he knew about her being sent to Madagascar, which makes her very bitter.
Meredith Gordon (Biological Mother) – Claire managed to find her several years back. She found out her mother thought Claire had died in an explosion that Meredith caused.
Flint Gordon (Uncle) – Meredith's brother, who Claire has teamed up with on things before.
Arthur Petrelli (Biological Grandfather - Deceased Maybe) - Evil, Bad man. He took her power and tossed her in a cell. She told Peter she'd trust him, but in truth he wierds her out and she'd rather stay far, far away.
Angela Petrelli (Biological Grandmother) - This woman does what she feels is best for Claire, even if the young woman doesn't agree. Claire respects her and loves her. |
Other Family will be added as they are adopted and get icons.
The table below was left so that people can see what has changed since she was injured.
This is what her relations looked like before Rasoul put a shotgun to her head and blew away 5 months of her life. A different girl, a different time. Though some will be the same.. others will be significantly different
These are the people and… er…things, who are not family, and have the most impact on her life right now.
Magnes Varlane (Boyfriend) -Scared her half to death on the roof of the Safehouse. They had a fascinating conversations about the 9th Wonders comics. When he told her that he thought Claire would be a Supermodel now-a-days, she decided to keep her mouth shut. Of course, she was curious about him and even let him take her on a date. Of course any future dates seemed shaky when she learned that he was Company. Though, with him recently getting out of the Company she feels a bit better about him. With him out of the Company he seems to be headed down the same path she's on. While she's nervous for him, she also feels that she can't keep him from it. Cause who is she to judge? She's been where he is. So she'll support him, help him… and, in general, just be there to support him.Of course, the kissing isn't too bad either.
Richard Cardinal - Oh… my…. God… Met him during one of the most embarrassing moments of her life! He not only saw her throw up, he saw her in her UNDERWEAR! *Dies of embarrassment* However, through it all he actually stayed by her side and helped her. Seriously? Why do that for a stranger? She owes him big time for his assistance. She actually counts him as a friend since he didn't hold back anything, nor did he sugar coat what he did to her grandfather, Arthur. Not to mention he warned her that Magnes was Company…. Oh! And lets not forget…. He gave her a pretty new shotgun. *Pets shotgun lovingly* Recently, she's moved out of the Verb and into the library where he's staying. She's ready to prove herself an asset to his cause, even if he doesn't think much of her choice of men. Oh… and they both agree.. they don't see each as potential bed partners. He's more of like a mentor/big brother for her, so much so that she feels comfortable teasing him.
Her Baby (Yes…that is a shotgun) – That's right. Her shotgun has a rather big impact! Often leaving behind quite a bit of damage. Seriously though, the girl has this thing about her shotguns. Kind of disturbing in someways. |
Cardinal's ragtag band of people. This is who Claire spends most of her time helping. Their orders and direction seem to come from the dead man Dr. Edward Ray
Elisabeth Harrison - This is Cardinal's main squeeze. And the woman who's been working to train Claire and others in weapons training. Claire likes her a lot and trusts her as much as she does Cardinal.
Mack - Okay… not sure what to think of this guy. He's crass and rude and they butt heads. She will still trust him to have her back in a fight if need be tho. If Liz and Richard trust him, she'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
Peyton - Claire doesn't know a whole lot about this young woman. She knows she can see through the eyes of others. She's not a fighter by any means, so needs protection in a fight.
Xiulan - Claire doesn't know all that much about this woman yet. She knows she's an artist and does tattoos.. Claire plans to try and get something done, but now sure what yet.
Zuleyka - One of the young girls living at the Library. She's odd, but not in a creepy way. Claire likes her and her little dog. |
These are the people that she met during her time overseas. Team Bravo, in Claires mind, was full of some of the worse people. Does that mean she is too?
Lieutenant Adelle Sanderson - Claire's first impression of the woman was not a good one, especially when she saw the woman with her hands on Magnes. However, in the few days they've been on the same team, Claire's learning to trust her training and sees her as probably the only other sane person in the group.
Gabriel Gray - It's been a year or more since she's seen him. And she still feels those butterflies and disgust from just being around him. All she sees is the man that wanted to cut off her skull and take her ability. However… being stuck on the same team, she's forced to work with him and trust his judgement, even if she really doesn't trust him. Will the trip change their views of each other? Well… guess we'll see. UPDATE: Yeah… He hasn't changed at all. X( He tried again to try and take her ability.
Huruma - Despite this woman being a large dark giant compared to Claire's pale and tiny, the ex-cheerleader doesn't seem all that intimidated by the cannibal. Claire kinda finds her 'at home in the jungle' attitude fascinating.
Eileen Ruskin - Doesn't really know much about this one yet. Just knows that Gabriel is intent on finding her and that she's a former member of the Vanguard.
Emile Danko - Dear god! WTF!?! He was in Team Bravo 1.0. The whole team but him was wiped out, which is kinda suspicious. Even being old, he's a nimble fighter of impressive skill, even if he does go rather overboard with it. Having him there is going to be strange and surreal. She's just waiting for him to turn on them all… He will, but when?
Candy - Crazy Asian woman who controls water. Doesn't seem to have much of an ability to fight except with her powers. Claire will have to keep a cautious eye on this one. |
Claire's family is large and as dysfunctional as it gets. :P
Peter Petrelli (Uncle) - If Claire has an Achellies Heel, it is Peter. Her hero who saved her from a psycho, she looks up to and trusts the man. She will always feel the guilt of the one time she wasn't there for him; When he blew up Midtown. It's this huge burden on her shoulders, which drives her to prove to him that she won't fail him again. She hasn't seen him since she found out he has Kazmir's ability.
** Sandra Bennet** (Adoptive Mother) - The woman who raised her. She's always been someone that Claire looks to for advice and someone she leans on. She love her mom dearly and worries about her being in New York. She seems to like Magnes, but doesn't think muck of Cardinal. Of course he mom doesn't like the life Claire is leading period.
Her issue with him currently is that he let her mom, Sandra move to New York.
Nathan Petrelli (Biological Father) - She hasn't really gotten to know her real father. She can count on her hands how many times she's seen him. She's been told he's a good man and a bad man, but she needs more time with him before she can make that choice on her own. She's talked to him recently and she's found she wants to get to know him more. They haven't been in each others life.. but there is a connection there. Other Family will be added as they are adopted and get icons.
Helena Dean
She's known Helena for a long time. They are like total BFFs, as Helena was always wearing her clothes when they lived near each other. There was some strain in their friendship and they haven't been seeing each other till recently.
Eve Mas
They may not be as close, but Claire has known Eve for sometime.
Abigail Beauchamp
She has helped Claire in many ways, and Claire appreciates all of it. She gave her a place to sleep, feeds her and has taken care of her when she was at her worse. If that isn't a friend, I dunno what is.
Catherine Chesterfield
Not much to say about Cat yet, A member of Pheonix and definitly friend material.
Vincent "Shard" King
Someone Cardinal sent her too at a rally to help him. His ability seems to be something like Peter had. Beyond that not sure what to think yet.
Stephanie "Stef" Winters
Gillian?? Seems to be with Shard. But this one is super strong. Threw a rock at a building. Very curious.
Aaron Micheals
Met him one night at Old Lucy's. Seems alright, but she can't really go on one meeting.
Flint Deckard
A dirty old man who saw her in her underwear!!! He did at least try to heal her better. She only got a little better, but in truth he's just as responcible for her surviving her ordeal as Delphine. So she will feel she owe him in the long run.
Delilah
Not sure what to say about this one yet. Time will tell! :)
Maya
A woman looking for her lost brother, Alejandro. Seems nice and sweet. And she's rooming with Claire whiles she's at the Safehouse. No harm in that right? RIGHT?
Brian
This guy can make copies of himself, that's a pretty cool power. Claire has said she's willing to help with the Lighthouse and the kids that will live there again once it's fixed up.
Game Logs:
She's got so many logs I decided to give it it's own page.
Memorable Moments:
Claire's
- Glaring at the ceiling, head tilted back, Claire spreads her arms modified AK-47's and all. "Your favorite toys is back." The words growl out with feeling, each word viciously spoken, even as she can feel tears burning at the back of her eyes. "Come play with me." - Said to Gregor. (Down in Flames, Part II)
- "Cause in the end of the day Magnes, people don't give a shit that a man gave his life to stop an explosion… all they will give a shit about is that you were using your ability on someone and beating them the hell up." There is actually a catch to Claire's voice then, eyes shiny with tears. "The normal people only give a shit about the bad we do and won't see all the good we've done." - Said to Magnes. (Don't Help Them Condemn Us)
- "Ha!.. knew it…" Her head comes up just above the flat surface as she reaches under the table, followed by the sound of tape ripping. The young regenerator brings a Twix bar out from under the table, strips of duct tape clinging to the wrapping. "I swear.. no matter where I look. He's like a huge mutant squirrel tucking away nuts for winter." - Her opinion of Bones' food stashing habits. (Castling The King)
- So many things go through the ex-cheerleaders head, but finally a grumpy murmur of — "Take a picture, it lasts longer," wins hands down. -Said to Deckard while in her undies. (Little Red Hearts)
- "You can skydive without a parachute!" "You can skydive without a plane!" - West and Claire, respectively, on the topic of their abilities (Kindred)
Other's about Claire
- "Just Your Monster, Cheerleader." - Sylar's words to Claire before trying to take her ability…again. (Just Your Monster, Cheerleader)
- "Claire died, but we just dug her out've the river and she put herself back together." - Cardinal said to Elisabeth during their conversation (Marco ... Polo!)
Trivia and Notes:
- Thanks to her stay in Madagascar, Claire's blood carries a Super strain of Malaria.. While it will still heal someone, it will also force them on Anti-Malaria med for the rest of their lives. This seems to be gone.
- During her illness Claire found a pair of Fuzzy Bunny Slippers buried at the back of a closet. Finders keepers.
- Don't tell anybody, but Claire possesses an amazing voice. West has coerced her into karaoke on more than on occasion. She secretly enjoys it. If asked, however, she will deny vehemently that she can sing at all.
- No sandwich is complete without crackers - to make them crunch.
