Clint was born in 1975, as the younger child to a military family. His father was in the air force, a Colonel at McGuire Air Force Base, and his mother was a housewife who essentially ran the house and took care of all of them with a precision as great as her husband's at his job. Luckily for Clint and his older sister, the family didn't move around much, and so he generally thought of New Jersey as home.
Growing up he had a normal life for a military brat. He didn't get into too much trouble, and he was a solid B student, with few peaks or dips right up through his teens. Right after he graduated he went to college, for the sole reason of making his mother happy. Four years later he graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice, and directly after, he joined the air force, to follow in his father's footsteps.
While in the air force Clint learned things that all soldiers do; survival and combat at the top of the list. And being that he was in the air force, he also learned how to fly. And he really did love flying. Didn't hurt that he was good at it either. Damn good. He got sent to the middle east a few times, the first time for six months, the second time for a year. But most of the time he stayed in the states as he began working his way up through the ranks.
When he was twenty eight he got engaged to a woman who lived near base that he'd been dating for a few years, by the name of Sabrina. A year later, they were married. The year after, at Sabrina's request, he left the air force, so he wouldn't have to go overseas again. Instead he joined the FBI. For a time, life was good.
However, the year after he joined the FBI, the bomb went off in New York, and everything changed. His father had retired, and moved to New York with his mother. The day that the bomb went off, Sabrina had driven up to spend a week with his family, and he was to join her the next day after work. So not only were his parents killed in the bomb, but so was his wife. And it was the start of a downward spiral.
Several months after the bomb, he was approached by members of a new organization called Humanis First. Considering that he'd lost all of his family except for his older sister because of the Midtown Man, he was all too eager to join. And both he and his recruiter knew that his position could only be an asset to the organization. But he could be more of one. And so he applied to become a DHS agent, and when he was 33, he got his wish.
Over the next year he worked on gathering intel, with the help of a fellow Agent named Gregory Armond. And a year after he got in, he was transferred to New York City. It was where the most danger was. Where the most work was needed. And it was where Armond and a Humanis First member named Wallace Cartwright were. It was the perfect place for Clint, passing information gained from Armond onto Wallace, right up until Wallace disappeared at the end of July '10. So now, in addition to his soul deep vendetta against the evolved, he's now also sworn to find Wallace. There are so few true believers, that they cannot put up with losing one.
