To know what her name is, would make no difference. To anyone. They would be unable to pronounce it, unless you actually lived in Uganda. She lived out in the country, as much as there is a country in Uganda. There wasn't much of a population there, it what being said. She is one of 13 children, second from the oldest and the oldest girl. She was also the biggest. By the time she was 16, she weighed over 220 pounds, and she added over 50 more pounds in the next few years. It made her perfect for field work, being able to pull triple the crops of the remaining children.
She grew up without schooling, without friends and without much outside of her family life. The house they lived in was small, and the older kids forced to sleep outside under a great tree. The siblings played simple games like tag and hide and seek. There was no TV, no video games, no digital music. Whatever entertainment they had, they created themselves. From homemade games, to singing around a fire. This was the way of life.
She worked in her father's field for her entire life. None of the children knew of any other way of life. However, that all changed shortly after she turned 22 years old. She was lying under the great tree next to her brother, as they shared a handmade blanket for warmth. In the morning, their father sent one of the younger children to wake them up and the child started screaming and ran back to the house. The screams woke her up, and as she tried to get to her feet, she felt weighted down. It was then she noticed that sometime during the middle of the night, spikes shot out from her skin. Spikes that would drive right into her brother, killing him. She started to scream herself, and the spikes retracted or disappeared or somehow were now gone. She couldn't believe what she had done and she ran off. She never returned home after that.
She set out on her own, unsure of what was happening to her or why. She traveled for several days, finding some wild berries to eat, though it provides her minimal hydration. One day, she came upon a large carnivorous spotted feline. She was immediately scared and hid behind a tree, but it wasn't much use as the feline decided it was hungry enough to give the girl a try and attacked. She ran at first, but the feline overtook her easily. The girl fought back, hands around the feline's throat as it tried to bite, when she felt something weird happen to her palms and the feline just stopped fighting.
Blood began to run down her arm as she dropped the feline, only then seeing the return of the spikes as they shot out straight from her hands. She found that if she concentrated, she could return her skin back to it's normal state. Fascinated, she begin to focus on changing her skin. At first, she just played with the spikes, but then she also realized she could change the thickness. It wasn't for several months later, she noticed she could change the color of her skin as well.
She walked for days, weeks and perhaps even months. She lots track of how many times the sun rose and set until she finally came to a body of water. It seems she's passed from Uganda into Kenya and all the way to the port of Malindi. She was able to stow away on a ship, and moved from ship to ship until she somehow found her way to New York.
She knew no one, spoke no English and was utterly lost when she slipped off the ship. She was equally confused when she was immediately taken into custody. Fear set in and she grew thick knots on her hands and beat those who grabbed her, and she fled into the city where she fell in with a group of homeless.
She spend a great deal of time with the homeless and picked up a few words of English. Enough to get by. She got into a scuffle one day as a few thugs decided to take their chance with her and she easily dispatched them, using rhino skin to thwart their attack, and pound them all bloody and beaten. The scene caught the attention of a thug who reported back to the owner of the local cage fight ring.
Using a universal translator, an evolved with the gift of learning all languages, they made a deal that put money into her pocket and a roof over her head. She was given the name "Konga the Obliterater". Her life came to a tragic end at the hands of Ethan after three fights. Her body disappeared and has not been recovered.
