Background

Lived in Newark, NJ, had an abusive father who burned his arms with cigarettes. Mother took him and left, then sold him out to the government when she found out he had a power. He was sent to Moab, and escaped with everyone else and made his way to NYC. He's currently a drifter who does whatever he can to get by, supervised by the government.

Evolved Ability

You wouldn't like Luke Campbell when he's angry.

Luke possesses great strength, superhuman strength directly tied to his emotional state. His muscles, ligaments, and bones all grow to heightened levels of mighty strength the more angry he becomes, though a general physical exam reveals no abnormalities.

In an ordinary emotional state, Luke is an ordinary boy his age. But as his temper grows, as his anger heightens and he works himself up into a frustrated fit, superhuman strength begins to grow. His structure augmented by pure, unbridled anger leaves hir capable of uprooting items cemented to the ground (a parking meter, for instance), hoisting cars over his head, tossing people around like rag dolls, throwing doors right off of their hinges, and twisting metal as though he were making balloon animals.

He's able to literally tear people limb from limb, though the heights of his strength depend entirely on just how angry he is at any one moment. Should his anger ebb, so too does his superhuman strength.
