Parallel Timeline Applications
With the Storyline Distant Shores, you will be able to apply and play a parallel timeline version of one of your characters. The Flood future is a timeline unlike any other we've ever visited, and it differs from our own as far back as 1961, so please check the timeline page for details on how your character might be different.
You may app ONE alternate-timeline character. As long as you have previously played that character in another timeline, they are applicable.

If you wish to apply a brand new character that has never been approved on String Theory to introduce within an alternate timeline, please talk to staff.

Give us a paragraph or two to put your pre-existing character into the context of this timeline. This story arc starts in June of 2021 a few years after the Sentinel attack on the Pelago.If you have questions, ask Manhattan.

How did your character's ability develop in this timeline? The Flood Timeline branched in 1961 and changed many major events, though some remained hauntingly similar. All of this story arc will take place in 2021.Other Alts
While you are restricted to one new alt from each timeline to actually RP, as has been established before, other alts might pop up in cameo appearances in scenes to give an idea of what happened to them. Insert all alts that you want to give staff permission to toy with and work into the world, either as simple cameo appearances (maybe they are seen briefly on TV) or as full-blown staff-ran NPCs.If you opt for this you are putting your character's fate in that timeline in our hands.
Coming Home
At the end of this storyline some characters will return to the Prime universe. If you would like to bring a character to the Prime universe from Flood you must have an available slot that character can fill (an Expressive character requires an open Expressive PC slot, for instance). We may make some exceptions for specific characters or NPCs on a case-by-case basis, provided they serve a clear story purpose. So, if you have questions please talk to us.
