Ordinary World is a storyline in Volume III of String Theory where we turn our attention to a new parallel timeline where SLC-Expressive abilities never existed. This will be a strange foray into a parallel universe the likes of which we've never seen before (but also is different from our own real world in very specific ways). This storyline will not feature interdimensional travel, but rather showcase the lives of parallel versions of our characters existing in a perfectly normal simple timeline. The ramifications of this will be a secret as a plot with connections to the prime timeline begin to unfold.
Oops I Volunteered Again
In the middle of Volume II we requested blind volunteers for a storyline. Well, suckers, it's actually two. If you are in the volunteer list below, you've become a special part of both the Ordinary World and the Like Pygmalion storylines (see that storyline's thread for more info). We are not accepting further volunteers as we had to create bespoke elements of this storyline over the last several months. Our volunteer list is:

Volunteers will have special backgrounds prewritten for their Ordinary World counterparts. Staff is working to design specific bespoke origin stories for these parallel versions of your characters that put you in precarious, interesting, and exciting places befitting your preferred play-styles and personalities. There will be more information on what fresh hell you volunteered for in time.
Non-Volunteers
If your name isn't on the volunteers list above, congratulations, you're going to experience the Ordinary World on your own terms. Like when we were running the Garden of Forking Paths storyline you will be able to create a short-form +job application for your parallel-timeline self in a world where powers don't exist. Even if your character only exists because of strange abilities you still can exist in this timeline. We will work with you to make one. As with our other parallel universe stories, you may only app one (1) character to this timeline, so choose wisely!
