As we enter Volume 3, there's going to be some institutional changes going on at SESA. Before I get into those, I wanted to give you all a breakdown of what happened in the aftermath of the Shedda Dinu raid in Rochester that many of you participated in.
The raid was covered in international news media though the identities of many of the agents involved were protected except for those listed in the article. That said, every SESA character who participated in Eight-Pointed Star Part IV will be invited to Kansas City, MO to the Capital Manor where they will be awarded the Public Safety Officer Medal of Valor for their participation in the operation.
In the months that follow, SESA is in a state of disarray when it is discovered that both Secretary Claudia Zimmerman and PR chief Alice Shaw were murdered following their abduction in February. SESA appoints Madeline Choi (who up until that point was the Director of SESA-NY) to become the new Secretary of SESA. In a surprising move, the Director of HUMINT (a covert intelligence branch of the DIA) named Farah Nazan-Gutierrez is appointed the new director of SESA-NY, with Voss remaining as Deputy Director.
In addition, there are some new structural changes that Director Nazan will instate:
1) Corbin Ayers will be promoted to assistant to the Deputy Director. This means that PCs looking for special authorizations or to file reports will do so through Corbin or Deputy-Director Voss. Feel free to throw scenes at Corbin to discuss SESA related stuff.
2) Nicole Miller will be promoted to assistant to the Director. This means that Special Agents (of which right now is just Corbin but will also include the Yamagato Industries, Wolfhound, and Raytech liaisons when those roles are filled) will report directly to Nicole for their operations.
If you have further questions about SESA in V3 or anything else that has occurred let me know!
