- Out in Central Park, Doctor Brennan discovers how much of a leash he'll need to keep on Liette, while Cat is given elucidation about the strange young girl, and Liette learns a terrible word from Luke. (Freak)

- Feng happens upon one of the Vanguard Remnant - Eileen - while she's docking and sends a little message before disappearing. Raith comes along not long after to shuffle her off and away from the scene of the crime. (Serendipitous)
- Two and a half feet of snow on the ground and two weirdos in dark coats across the street thin out Old Lucy's clientele enough that Abby's forced to come out and broom them off the stoop like retarded pigeons. (Scaring Customers)
