Significance
Donated to a charity auction run by Melissa Pierce during Tartarus' grand opening, "Ashes to Ashes" comes straight from the private collection of Daniel Linderman, whose affinity for paintings done by the late Isaac Mendez is well-known throughout New York City's art world. It was won by Melissa in the raffle but gifted to Abigail Caliban and used to hang on a wall in her condo in the Solstice Condominiums till it was stolen by a thief.
The painting depicts Mohinder Suresh scattering his father's ashes across the water.
