Originally just another private residence on the affluent fringes of Kansas City, this lake-side luxury home was appropriated by the United States government and converted into the new official residence of the President and his wife. Though much smaller than the White House, Capitol Manor (as it is now known) is a stately, grey-bricked, generous estate overlooking a small lake, surrounded by tidy woodland, with state of the art security to defend against intruders. Visitation is by invitation only, with only loyal employees and trusted media presence allowed past its various checkpoints.

Capitol Manor is one house of several within a broader gated community, with other residences available for permanent features of the United States government, security, and honoured guests.
