Mass Grave Uncovered

Acting on an anonymous tip received Friday night, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department uncovered a mass grave in the desert twenty miles north of the city late Sunday afternoon. The grisly find included six bodies, and although autopsies have not been completed on the remains, a source close to the investigation informed the local media that the remains were in an advanced state of decomposition, leading investigators to believe that they are at least a year old. At least one of the victims' hands were cuffed behind their back.

Authorities are currently operating under the assumption that the grave may be drug-related or the work of local gangs, which have flourished after federal grant money for the Metro's Gang Task Force dried up several years ago.

Anyone with information about the killings is encouraged to contact the police through the department's the anonymous tip line or come down to the precinct in person.
