Biddy Flannigan's Irish Pub

Ambient lighting blankets the establishment in a soft luminescence, glowing in tones of appealing orange from the front face of the bar and low hanging light fixtures overhead. Old style brick walls given the pub an appealing depth, reflecting the tone of lights in a more amber hue down upon the lengths of the polished, wooden floors. The bar counter of lacquered dark wood stretches along the northern wall, the forefront for shelves of numerous liquors and the substantially sized LCD televisions spaced liberally behind it. The screens flicker with the latest games and news as the labeled spirit bottles wink from lighted shelves with a beckon of their own. Barstools and high tables welcome tipsy patrons to their support, scattered with throughout the barroom with a few wedge into the darker, quieter, and more secretive recesses. Over the bar are a few banners of sports teams, most notably one of English football club Manchester United.

The thick wooden door to the west is fitted with a single neon sign sponsored by one of the brews on tap, glowing in the door's center window to shed its light onto the sidewalk outside and summoning in new customers when the bar is open for business.

Not a busy night the bar is close to closing it's door. Kurt still sits at a stool along the long bar length and peaks glances outside the window towards his bike locked up on the street pole outside. The dark man pulls his hat down closer over his head again and finishes his bear. "Can I grab one more?" He asks sounding like the least drunk person in the bar. The bartender obliges and Kurt gives a friendly smile before looking back down towards the counter top.

Adelaide too is settling down, she's sitting at the bar stool as well, she talking with the bartender ina calm voice, not drunk at all."

Apparently not the least drunk person about Kurt glances up to the woman taking to the bartender and gives a touch of a smile, it's not the friendliest but he tries. Kurt goes back to his beer quickly though.
Adelaide nods. She watches him out of the corner of her eye. "Hello," she says softly, she moves to turn a little and watch him. "Enjoying your time before this place closes?"

Kurt looks up again and smiles a touch brighter, "Yeah not been in here alot before this but figured I'd give it a shot, nice place." He comments looking about at the stone walls of the bar, "How bout yourself?" He asks a little dumbly, not the best conversational skills.

Adelaide nods her head. "Pretty good." she whispers, she looks down at her glass, her eyes move only a little as if memories are being thought of.

Kurt nods his head and holds out her hand towards the girl, "Oh I'm Kurt." He offers accompanied by a hint of a smile.

Adelaide smiles. "Ahh, Adelaide." she responds extending her hand. She keeps her eyes focusd on him, waiting for a moment then takes his hand.

Kurt shakes the given hand lightly and a though or Kurt driving far to fast, worried about family he never heard from again in New York flashes though his mind. Adelaide looks a touch like his little sister Jenna, "Well a pleasure to meet you." His eyes contently flirt towards the bike outside.

Adelaide blinks, memories. Viewing other peoples, were still something knew, distinguishing those from her own, was getting harder especially now that she'd learned to ask for them at will. "Same here." she whispers. Her averts her eyes a moment.

Kurt raises an eyebrow but smiles to her as he gets up grabbing his jacket, "Well work bright and early." He admits before saying, "I hope I catch you around here again, come around often?"

Adelaide shrugs. "On occassion, not a heavy drinker. Barely drink at all." she passes him a small business card. 'E.A. (Evolved Anonymous)-For The Evolved, Non and those who just want to stupidity.' it read, or something similar. Adelaide looked at the card. "Feel free to stop by," she began, almost saying 'the Suresh center' but stopped herself. "Umm… yeah… its just a small group, no need to come if you don't want to. I pass them out to everyone who's not drunk."
