New York City Mayoral Elections Delayed

NEW YORK CITY — In response to the tragic destruction of the Manhattan Municipal Building by pro-evolved terrorist Norman White on the 6th, mayoral candidates Marcus Donovan, Sylvia Lockheart and Jennifer Chesterfield have all postponed their campaigns out of respect to the families lost in this tragic event. As such, the final mayoral candidacy debates hosted by NPR have been pushed back to a so far undetermined date.

The stalling of the election process means that the November 3rd ballot to decide the new mayor of New York City will be postponed as well. Current estimates conservatively place it two weeks further into the month of November, but no official announcement has been made to set a new time for the elections.
