02/02/2020 -- Explosion Reported At Plum Island Facility

ORIENT, NY — At roughly 10:30 am this morning, witnesses reported an explosion occurring on Plum Island near Orient, New York. The island is federal land and is the location of PISEC (Plum Island SLC-Expressive Center), which performs research into matters pertaining to the SLC-Expressive. The facility additionally houses a number of federal prisoners who were sentenced at the Albany Trials to life in prison.

The Safe Zone Siren reached out to both the Department of Justice and SESA for comment. SESA confirmed that an explosion had occurred and offered no further comment.
