08/30/19 -- Massive Explosion in New Jersey

AUGUST 30, 2019

REUTERS — Local authorities are reporting a catastrophic explosion in the vicinity of what was once the Jungle Habitat Amusement Park just south of the ruins of Plumstead Township around 4:30 pm local time.

According to sources at SESA the agency has been called into emergency action to investigate the explosion which rattled windows as far away as the NYC Safe Zone. Authorities believe recent rain and the shockwave of the explosion helped prevent this blast from sparking a wildfire in the area.

This region of New Jersey has been uninhabited since the conclusion of the Second American Civil War, but is located within 8 miles of a small revitalized settlement now known as Providence.
