NEW JERSEY — As of 5:00pm on September 1st, SESA quarantined the area surrounding the blast site. Authorities are allowing no one into the area and are encouraging locals to stay away from the area.
New Jersey residents who witnessed the explosion agreed to speak with reporters provided their identities were kept a secret. One such resident claims that during the explosion the overcast sky briefly cleared, revealing a shimmering aurora-like pattern of green and blue lights, much like those seen earlier this year across the world. Other local residents corroborated this story. SESA has declined to comment on the incident or the nature of the quarantine, except that it poses "no immediate danger."
