CHINATOWN — Authorities discovered the body of Ronald Ho (46) late tuesday night in an alleyway behind the Golden Luck Dragon restaurant in Chinatown. Ho, a reputed member of the Ghost Shadows Triad, had been missing Since sunday night when his wife reported that he did not return home from work. An autopsy has not been performed yet, though sources within the NYPD claim that Ho had no visible signs of trauma, though they are not ruling out foul play.
This is the second such murder of a known Triad member in as many months. Last month Cao Lin-Shen's body was found in Queens in a dumpster by public service workers. No cause of death was able to be established by coroners in that case. It is expected that the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Evolved Affairs may become involved in the investigation to ascertain whether or not SLC-generated abilities were at work in either of these cases.
