A thief. A scoundrel. A criminal.

The virus made all of those things moot. There were only the dead, and the surviving. He survived as a shadow, a ghost, helping Isabelle and her people where he could without risking the dangers of becoming flesh. Even once they found the Hub, he hasn't spent a lot of time as someone solid. He works with K-Mart and his scavengers, scouting out places too dangerous for a corporeal person. His father's here too, David Cardinal, although relations between them seem somewhat uneven.

It's pretty openly known him and Peyton are a thing-ish.
