By 2:00pm popular video sharing website YouTube has suddenly gone offline in what is being called a "coordinated and advanced Denial of Service attack." Further compounding the attack is a viral redirect on the messaging site which leads to a single embedded video clip of blank air space and a synthesized voice speaking a single line.
"We are Rebel, and we are watching."
Authorities are attempting to trace back the hack on the website, believing it to be part of a coordinated attack on telecommunications infrastructure during the riots. However, some analysts have noticed that before YouTube went down, video footage of the presidential address from today was being corrupted by an outside source.
The Department of Homeland Security believes an Evolved able to manipulate networked computer information may be responsible.
